2024 Medi-Cal Change

Starting January 1, 2024, Health Net Community Solutions will no longer serve Medi-Cal members in Kern and San Diego Counties

• Due to contract changes with the state of California, Health Net Medi-Cal will not enroll new members in Kern or San Diego counties starting October 1, 2023.
• Health Net Medi-Cal will serve members in these counties through December 31, 2023.
• Starting January 1, 2024, Health Net Medi-Cal members who live in these counties will move to another health plan. Please note: Members' Medi-Cal eligibility and benefits will not change. More information will be mailed to you soon.

Please visit Health Care Options if you need help finding a health plan in either Kern or San Diego County. Regardless of the county you live in, your Medi-Cal services and benefits will not be impacted by the health plan changes.
